What's Up Wednesday: Merry Christmas

Well it's all said and done!!! My 12 weeks to Christmas turned out pretty good. I didn't get everything done but do have a great game plan for next year. So what about this year?? Well I'm turning off the computer and enjoying family time and celebrating the true reason for the season: Jesus!!!!!!
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year

2010 was such a busy year for our family and full of many blessings: healthy kids, fruitful marriage, moving back to the States, purchasing our 1st home, getting a brand new car, finally being with family for the holidays. And as much as all these things are truly a blessing, God is really moving in our hearts and challenging us to go beyond these earthly and temporal blessings and seek out heavenly treasures. As we have begun to settle into a new routine and new home we are looking around to see how we can be a light in our neighborhood. We have settled in with our new family church at Providence Baptist Church and greatly enjoying all the outreach opportunities they provide for us to take part in. The kids are adjusting well to the American culture and Big Daddy is busy as ever at MARSOC. AWANA is now a family affair as LJ is in his 2nd year of T&T, JJ is in his 2nd year of Sparks and CJ is enjoying her 1st year of Cubbies. Big Daddy is the T&T leader and I am helping out with Sparks this year!!! The kids and I keep busy with our home school Co-Op, Pre-K Story Time, gymnastics, dance and our weekly visits to Glen Care. And although life keeps us very busy we are never too busy to entertain visitors and do hope that 2011 will find you visiting us in our new home!!! May you have a blessed New Year and Christ centered Christmas celebration!!

This is beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing all that you are thankful for. A.W.A.N.A.S. is a family outing for us as well. *smile* It's a great thing. Our son is in his first year of Sparks while our daughter is in her first "legal" hear of Cubbies. She completed both books with her brothter last year and has been reviewing the same one her class is working through at their pace this year while doing one of the Charactor builder books, this gives her something new. *smile* Another boy in the group will only be there for one year decided that he wanted to earn both book awards this year before going on to Sparks next year after seeing her completed vest. *smile* Very neat to know that her desire to work with her brother last year has encouraged another boy to work through the verses as well. *smile* I wish you all the best and am thankful for so many of the same things. God is good and I am richly blessed! Have a great Christmas celebration! Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!
