Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Ephesians 6:1 NIV

So this probably isn't profound to anyone else but it was a bit of a chuckle to me. CJ has a bit of a problem with laying half eaten food all around the house. Depending on where she loses interest in it determines where it will end up. Needless to say I have been working with her on putting food in the garbage once done. Funny thing about this was that I had just cleaned out the trash can that morning and was letting it dry out so when I went to put a trash bag in the trash can this is what I found. I just chuckled to myself and Ephesians 6:1 immediately came to mind. What else could I do but laugh cause she was finally listening to mom and putting her trash where it belonged. Don't forget to head on over the The 160 for more Word Filled Wednesday!!!

Resurrection CountDown: Day 4
We continue to walk our children through the Crucifiction with the 9th egg. This will reveal the spear. Matthew,Mark, and Luke do not mention the spear but I wanted to provide those links in case you had not chosen the Book of John in teaching your children.

Jesus, how thankful I am that you chose to do the will of Your Father. I know that I will never fully know the price you paid but may I fully live out a life of thanksgiving to You and decide each day to die more to the flesh so that I can live more for You!!!! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
