Resurrection CountDown: Day 3

April 9, 2009

The 10th egg will reveal a piece of white cloth which represents the burial of Christ. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Something you might also want to mention tonight is the gifts that Jesus got when he was born: gold, incense, and myrrh. Gold was a gift fit for a king, incenses were burned in worshiping God, and myrrh was what was used in preparing a person for burial.

Dear Father, the day draws near when we get to say He has risen, He has risen indeed.Let us live in this freedom Christ bought for us each day of the year and not just on Resurrection Sunday. Let us be alive in His Freedom and not dead in the sins of our flesh. Let us be reminded that the same power that rose Christ from the dead lives within each of us when we accept Jesus as our Savior. When we make Him Lord of our lives, then we are no longer slaves to this world but a bond servant to The Lord Most High. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
