I do hope today finds you enjoying it. I've been a bit lazy today, which I think we need to do at times. I also enjoyed the Psalm readings scheduled for today. After reading about how Saul has turned on David it really helps to understand in greater context the despair of David's pleas to God. If the only praise you are able to utter to God today is, "Thank You that I woke up this morning." May you find refugee in Psalm 56:8
through the sleepless nights,
Each tear entered in your ledger,
each ache written in your book.
Father, may we always abide in You so that when troubled times come all we have to do is turn to You and we will find our refugee from the world. May we remember to seek You daily so that in the midst of our hardships we are in Your very presence and not frantically looking for You. Let us remember that You have control over all things and that we are not a pawn in this world but that You have very specific desires for our lives and as long as we are in line with Your will, there is nothing to fear. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
