Wordfilled Wednesday: Ephesians 6:18

March 4, 2009
Father, let us be slow to react when things don't turn out as we have planned. Reveal to us your protection and direction in situations where we can not see clearly the path you have marked for us. May our words honor you and let us weigh heavily our thoughts before we speak them. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18 NIV

So I have been working on this for over a week. How I was able to finally get this done I have no idea. Between prayer, paint and Picasa I was able to edit this pink ribbon for a very sweet lady. My goal was to make this a button to link to her CaringBridge blog. However I have no idea how to actually do that. Would someone be willing to share their knowledge so that I could get this up and going. Julie is a godly woman who is now on her way back to the United States as after being cancer free for a year, it has returned. Their family could use so much prayer right now. Julie will have to go through radiation this time and they are making an international move. You can only imagine the flood of emotions that they are processing in this season of life. To get to know her a bit better you can visit her CaringBridge blog or their Family Blog.

Week 9 Reading Schedule
Here is another week of reading for you. And look, we will finish off Numbers this week! So have you learned anything new from any of the passages so far? I had forgotten about the story of the talking donkey so I enjoyed revisiting the story again. What circumstances in your life might God be using to show you that you are going about things the wrong way? I look forward to reading the rest of the story tomorrow, how about you?
