Resurrection CountDown: Day 12

March 31, 2009

Welcome to my crazy world!!!!! I was going to download some pics from egg dying yesterday but I can't find the cable to my camera. Which I guess it's a good thing they selected me to be the Guest Tackler over at Tackle It Tuesday!!!!! Click on over to see how I finally got through my kitchen drawers and what everyone else is up to!!!

Because I can not upload any pics for Resurrection Count Down yet, I will give you the links to the craft we will do tonight as we open the first egg to reveal the donkey in it.Donkey Cut Out. If you are doing the palm leaf you can do this alternate craft , both can be found on DLTK.

Dear Father, as life marches on help us to never forget Tripp Roy and the wonderful example he was to all he met. Be with their family as there is so much still to be done before they can go back to the US. Thank you that our hearts can find joy in know that Tripp is with you and that You will provide for Amanda and the children. When the sorrow of his home coming is more that we can handle, let us quickly run into your loving arms and find comfort in You. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

Thanks for swinging by and leaving a comment. Yes, we're in the new ones. Really lucked out - it's my dream kitchen. From Uncle Sam... who knew? ;-) I think I drive the baggers nuts - I've got commissary bags, Whole Foods bags, a Costco bag and several others. I know the ones in CA were probably glad to be done with me by the time we (and all my bags) left. heh heh

The Roy family are definitely in my prayers. What a hard, hard thing. I can't even put it into words.

What a wonderful tackle and a heartfelt prayer!

I noticed by your profile that you are in Okinawa...my aunt is originally from there and came back with my uncle when he was stationed there! BTW I grew up in the army too.

I imagine the life of a military wife--remembering a lot of memorial services..and remembering the sacrifice you and your family and others are making for our country. Thanks for commenting about the homeschooling accomplishment. I still have four others that are not there yet. Blessings.

I love my camera that I can just slip my memory card into my computer, saves me from having to track down the cord! My really nice camera has a cord and so I end up not using it!

Thanks for stopping by sewingmom.com
