Today we will open the second egg which will contain the cup or bread. At craft time we will be making Bath Salts , but you could also make Bubble Bath . Tonight we will give our children a foot bath as we read to them the Children's Version of The Last Supper.
I would like to offer up 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 for you knowledge concerning some biblical criteria for taking part of Communion. I also found this Timeline of Jesus final week very informative for older children or adults.
Dear Father, as we draw nearer to the celebration of Life through Christ, let us not forget that which He went through that we might obtain the free gift of salvation. Not just during this time leading up to Resurrection Sunday but in each day you bless us with. Help us to see how we are wasting the precious time you have given us when we focus on the world and not you. Open our eyes to the mission field you have prepared us for and help us to see the seriousness of Easter and light within each of us a desire to spread Your life saving message: Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen
