I am a Star

Genesis 15:5-6 Then he took him outside and said, "Look at the sky. Count the stars. Can you do it? Count your descendants! You're going to have a big family, Abram!" And he believed! Believed God! God declared him "Set-Right-with-God."

Creator of Heaven and Earth, The High God my Father! How blessed the believers in Your Son Jesus are as our numbers are as great as the amount of stars in the sky. Just as you promised Abram! And how blessed we are that it is not by works but in believing that we are adopted into Your family. Father may we set up an alter for You in our homes and hearts and never set upon it a sacrifice that is not worthy of You. In Our Savior's Name, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen
