Slow Cooking Sunday

Well my quest for a stress free Sunday cooking is going well so far!!! In fact this week I only have a before picture because we were so hungry and I forgot to get a picture of our meal before it was all gone. And of course it was one of those times where I just threw together what I had to create a yummy Potato Soup!
Once again I prepped my slow cooker the night before by dicing up 7 baking potatoes and adding 6 cups of water and let it set overnight. Then this morning I added 7T of chicken bouillons, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste and 1/2 cup of butter cut up. I put my slow cooker in the heating unit and let it cook on low* till we got back from church. (*you will want to use your highest setting if you want the soup finished in at least 4 hours and low if you tend to cook over 6 hours)

Don't forget to link up with your favorite slow cooking recipe and remember you have till Saturday to share with us!!!!

I enjoy potato soup, unfortunately my family isn't very fond of it. *smile* They like crunch in their food I suppose. *smile* They eat it without complaint when I make it though. *big smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!
