It's hard to believe that May is almost over along with our month long journey of praying for our children. I thought to rap up the month we could pray for our children;"Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children. Lam. 2:19 If you don't have a child of your own to pray for, you can visit Before His Throne and pick one child to pray for.
Colossians 1:9-12
Be assured {name of child} that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you. God to give {name of child} a wise mind and a spirit attuned to Your will. May {name of child} acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which You work. We pray that {name of child} will live well for the Master, making Him proud of you as you work hard in His orchard. As {name of child} learns more and more about how God works, may he/she learn how to do Your work. We pray that {name of child} will have the strength to stick it out over the long haul. Not by just gritting his/her teeth but by the glory-strength God gives him/her. Always thanking the Father who makes {name of child} strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that He has for him/her.
