You Are Not Alone

It seems that there are so many women whose husbands have recently deployed and even those who have finally been reunited with their husbands!!!!! It seems like such a bitter sweet season in my heart as I rejoice with those who have been reunited and am saddened by the separation that is inevitable for each military family. One such dear friend, Alycia is such Sweet Sister in Christ and her husband was recently deployed!!!! My heart cries out, for as each military wife knows no words can ease the ache of your spouse being gone. But just as Ecclesiastes says there is a time for everything and so, I walk this journey with her to laugh when she laughs and to cry when she cries, and deeply desire to be an extension of God's comfort to her as she is separated from her husband. So it is to you, Darling Alycia, that I put this song on my play list. Come back here anytime you need that reminder, You Are Not Alone.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:

A right time for birth and another for death,
A right time to plant and another to reap,
A right time to kill and another to heal,
A right time to destroy and another to construct,
A right time to cry and another to laugh,
A right time to lament and another to cheer,
A right time to make love and another to abstain,
A right time to embrace and another to part,
A right time to search and another to count your losses,
A right time to hold on and another to let go,
A right time to rip out and another to mend,
A right time to shut up and another to speak up,
A right time to love and another to hate,
A right time to wage war and another to make peace.
