Jesus Revealed

January 7, 2009

How blessed we are through Christ that You: "watch over every step I take, but you won't keep track of my missteps. My sins will be stuffed in a sack and thrown into the sea—sunk in deep ocean.(v17) How exciting it is to see Christ revealed in the Old Testament: "There must be Someone in heaven who knows the truth about me, in highest heaven, some Attorney who can clear my name— My Champion, my Friend, while I'm weeping my eyes out before God. I appeal to the One who represents mortals before God as a neighbor stands up for a neighbor." (v20-21) Father, continue to reveal to us the mysteries of The Gospel. Cultivate within us a great desire to draw closer to You and to hide Your Word in our hearts so that when we are depleted, and feel that we can go no further, Your Word will be the very strength that renews us. Jesus, You are our Comforter, our Friend and it is in your Holy name we pray, Amen
