Continue in Prayer

As I was checking for any updates on Harper, I came across this one from Angie on Bring The Rain. If you look in my column on the right you will find a button to her site. Amazing journey God has taken Angie and her family through and she has a wonderful ability to publish posts you just can't stop reading!!!! I know that sometimes our time is short so I wanted to at least publish the Bible Verse and prayer she is claiming for Harper. Side by side we can have our petitions echoing in the hall of heaven!!! (I DO encourage you though to visit her blog when you get the chance and see how she chose this very specific verse to pray, really cool. Oh and Angie is also the author of Pray 7X7, great resource in covering your children in prayer!!)

Colossians 1:15-16
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

Lord, you are the Father of all things. You are the father of this sweet baby girl who is in need of your power. We recognize your dominion over all things, and we bow to your sovereignty....Lord, bless this family as they walk these twisted roads, and at every turn, remind them of your presence and grant them your peace. Amen.

Also while reading through her comments; yes I love to read comments on other peoples blogs, I came across a post with information on Baby Brayden,. You can visit his mom's blog at Jenna's Journey for the complete story.

This family, like Harper's, had difficulties in conceiving and now that both blessings have arrived, each is in the NICU with life threatening complications. This motivates me even more to fall upon my knees and pray for their perfect recovery and the well anticipated homecoming to the families that have been awaiting their arrivals.

So as you go through your day, please pray for Baby Harper,Baby Brayden, their loved ones, and the medical staff that will be pouring out care over these two babies!!!

Dear Father, Author of Life, we fall before You now and ask for Your healing of these two precious babies You have given to these families. Lord give the medical staff the knowledge to correctly treat Harper and Brayden. Give them plenty of rest and a sound mind as they treat each child. Strengthen each family as they wait for Your perfect timing of bringing home the blessings You have chosen to give them. Father, You know both Kelly and Jenna so well and what their physical and emotional state is. Heal their bodies so that they will be in perfect shape to care for their little ones when they finally go home. I also pray for their emotional health as well. During this time of great stress and the physical adjustment of hormones after giving birth, I pray that Post Partum does not set in. Give their husbands the wisdom to also look over their wives health and ensure that their emotional and physical needs do not go over looked!!!! Father bless these family as they are a strong testimony in walking in faith with You. Place upon our hearts the needs of this family so that we can support them through prayer till Harper and Brayden come home. In Jesus Name we lift up our prayers to you, Amen
