Awesome God

January 9, 2009
Dear Father,
Let us always remember that You have a purpose for each of us, that You are not a Silent God!!! If we can not hear You Lord, show us how to turn our hearts to You that we may hear what You have to say!! You are a Sovereign God, an Awesome God, a God that doesn't just love but defines Love: You are Love. As we continue in this year, Father show us the true answer to this question: When tragedy occurs, hardships fall upon us, or the blessings overflow from heaven do we have to go looking for You or are we already walking hand in hand with You? You made us that we would need You. Show us where we are substituting fleeting things to fill the basic desire of fellowship with You. May our lives bring You glory, honor, and be pleasing to You. In Jesus Name we ask these things, Amen

Hi L2L,

Thanks for visiting our blog. What a treat to visit yours...it's very cheery and what a great place to come and be able to "Amen!" your prayers and the treasures you've shared. Thank you for the encouragement!

Here's the basic directions for the birthday calendar:You can email me at twohappystampers@gmail.com if you need more info.

8.5x11 left tab manila file folder. 1) Open folder so that the tab is in the top right corner. 2)Fold bottom of the folder up about 4" to create the pockets. 3)Fold left side toward the center until the straight part touches the center line (apprx. 4.25") and continue to fold accordion style, making sure that all 4 sections line up evenly.
At this point you can decorate as you wish adding fasteners at the top of the 2 inner sections, adding decorative paper, placing ribbon on the inside of the back before closing it, stamping, etc. Once you've done the decorating, then using sticky strip, glue the outer perimeter of the sides of the pockets to enclose them, and sticky strip the back insides of the book together. If all of this is as clear as mud, email me and I will try and give clearer instructions. It sounds like a nice project!
