I was ready to leave. As adults, we NEED to see that...to get just a small glimpse, a small fraction of the excruiting torture Christ had to endure for us...His gift to us. He not only endured the physical torture, but also the psychological pain of bearing the guilt of our sin. It still, all these years later, humbles my Christian heart.<BR/><BR/>Every day, there are Christians persecuted around the world because of their belief in Jesus Christ. I think so many of us get caught up in our own wants and needs and forget that some have to "pay a cost" to worship our almighty Savior. <BR/><BR/>Holy week (~the countdown to the resurrection) is an emotional time for me.
